The St. Luke’s Christmas Tree Festival is a tradition that goes back quite some time, which is why we were so thankful that we managed to find a way to keep it going through the challenges that 2020 has brought.
In years gone by we have run the festival right out of the church. The trees and lights brighten up an already incredible building making it seem magical. The event usually runs over three days where our doors are open for people from all walks of life to come in to view the trees, vote for their favourite and maybe have a Christmas treat or two inside as well.

We are delighted that the voting boxes under each tree raised a total of over £2100 for Alexander Devine Children’s Hospice

We understand that times have been tough this year and each of us have struggled in some way. Whatever you can spare to put towards a charity that relies on donations to operate will be greatly appreciated and gratefully received.
Help us to help others with a small (or large) donation to Number 22 community counselling services and St. Luke’s Church.
This year, as we are conscious that many people, do not carry much cash, we are encouraging voting for your favourite trees with tokens in church.
These tokens can be purchased in advance from the parish office (open Tuesday – Friday 9:30 – 11:30 am) using credit cards or cash, or at the door on our event days.
Tokens are sold in bags of 10 for £5 and all the money raised from the event goes to charity.
